Active in this session. Promote to send for canon review. Canon → Brainstorm → Scene.
Import your manuscript. Upload chapters (.txt or .docx), paste text, or let the AI break prose into scenes. Select entries with the checkboxes, then click Extract World to build characters, locations, and timeline automatically.
Each extraction pass tracks progress per entry — if something fails, retry and only the failed pass re-runs.

Why add my own key?
The shared server key gives you 25 Claude calls per day. Adding your own Anthropic API key removes that cap — every call goes through your own billing instead of the shared key.
Cost: typically a few cents per session. Short prompts on Haiku are near-free; long extraction passes on Sonnet cost ~1–5¢ each. You only pay for what you use.
Setup: Create a key at console.anthropic.com/settings/keys, add a few dollars of credit under Billing, then paste the key above and click Save.
Privacy: Your key is stored only on your account, is never shared with other users, and is not visible to the admin. It's used only for your own calls. You can remove it any time by clearing the field and saving.

Export all story data — sessions, canon, characters, and world bible — to a ZIP. Import to restore.
Clears all saved sessions and approved canon entries. Characters and world bible are preserved.
Create a blank workspace for a new story. Your current workspace is preserved.
Upgrade this workspace's archive to the POV-aware schema. Every opinionated field (biography, personality, descriptions, etc.) gets tagged as narrator perspective so future extractions can add character-specific viewpoints alongside it. Idempotent — safe to run multiple times.
Deletes sessions, canon, all characters, and the entire world bible for the current workspace. Export first.
Generate single-use codes for new users to register.
Display a site-wide warning banner to all users (logged in and out) that you are actively deploying code and they may be disconnected without warning. Persists across service restarts — only you turn it off.
Push local changes to your VPS and restart the service. Requires WSL with rsync and SSH key access to the server.
Import your prose, extract characters, and interrogate your world.
A Sherlock Holmes story is pre-loaded in your Library. Read it, then run Extract World to build characters, timeline, and locations. From there, try Simulate, Interrogate, or Observe.
Upload your manuscript (.txt or .docx) or paste chapters in Library → Import. Works best with up to ~50,000 words per extraction pass. You can always add more later.
